Using real-time data for long-term analysis in GSM network

Abstract

AB3:Tämän työn tarkoituksena on kuvata, mille uusille kohteille suorituskykyparametrit voidaan laskea Traffican keräämästä tiedosta, mitä hyötyä niistä on matkapuhelinoperaattorille sekä kuinka tämä tieto saadaan lasketuksi ja siirretyksi Network Data Warehouseen. Tässä työssä suunniteltiin ja toteutettiin ohjelma nimeltään Traffic Reporter, joka laskee suorituskykyparametrit Traffican keräämästä tiedosta ja siirtää ne Network Data Warehouseen pidemmän aikavälin analysointia varten.

The objective of the thesis is to describe for which new targets the key performance indicators can be calculated, what is the benefit of that information for the operator and how it can be calculated and transferred to the Network Data Warehouse. As a result of this thesis, a new program called Traffic Reporter was designed and implemented. It calculates the key performance indicators from the information collected by Traffica and transfers them into the Network Data Warehouse for long-term storage and analysis.
