| Abstract: | In the thesis image segmentation and watershed algorithm based on bothflooding and rainfalling simulations are reviewed and their problemsexperienced in noise environments are investigated. Several algorithms fromboth classes of prefiltering and gradient robustification have beenproposed and implemented along with simulation results on different images. |
