Abstract:

This thesis concentrates on virtual prototyping as an embodiment of the modern design technologies. The virtual prototyping concept is used to perform the design process on system-level, where the global and sub-system design process on system-level, where the global and sub-system design verification handled by emulation, simulation, and co-simulation. The virtual prototyping environment described in this thesis consists of several commercial design environments and tools. Additional interfaces and communication mechanisms are developed in order to provide the required inter-tool co-operation. The developed environment is demonstrated with some design cases. /Kir10 |
