Title: Balanced scorecard in software development
Author: Peltola, Pilvi
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) for the Mobile Switching Systems (T/M) unit at Oy L M Ericsson Ab. The purpose is also to present ideas of improving the unit's intranet-based BSC Visualisation tool. BSC views performance from different perspectives. The purpose is to create a balance between long- and short-term goals, external and internal perspectives, financial and non-financial measures, and lagging and leading indicators. In this study theory is formulated by a literature survey. In addition to the literature survey and qualitative methods various Ericsson internal sources are used as information source. /Kir10
