| Abstract: | Based on the assumption that computers and games are strongly associated, their technologies are expected to evolve in unison. The objective of this paper is to analyse the possibility of such coevolutionary existence between PC and PC game technologies. The paper commences by introducing theoretical concepts with respect to tcchnology. The theoretical component is followed by empirical investigation pertaining to PC and PC games. Exsting materials such as internet sources are used to gather data relating to technologies integrated in these products. Models establishecl in discussions of coevolutionary theory are in turn applied to this practical case study. Graphical representations are produced and discussed to determine the potential for coevolving associations. |
