Abstract:

The goal of this study is to analyse the structure of the Finnish mobile cluster, identify the main drivers and obstacles for the success of mobile services, and assess the competitive potential of the Finnish mobile services production. For the most part, this study has a descriptive nature. In constructing the value network of the Finnish mobile core actors, we use the conceptual method. The theoretical framework of the study is mainly based on Michael E. Porter's foundations in the fields of corporate strategy, national competitiveness, and geographical clusters. These theories are complemented with thorough criticism and additional frameworks concerning value networks and "hot pots". /Kir10 |
