This Master of Science Thesis studies a common source of vibration excitation, the rotating unbalance, and aims to the particular case of machines with two rotors, such a the role systems of paper machinery. This thesis analyses this particular case but its study is applicable to all the machinery with similar characteristics. The aim of the present research work is to pose the rotating unbalance phenomenon and to predict both the critical speeds and the natural frequencies of vibration, as well as the amplitudes of vibration, with the intention of evaluate the vibrational behaviour of the machine and its mechanical design.Matlab software assisted the analysis process, so that rapid evolutions were determined. /Kir10 |
