Abstract:
|
Distribution transformers may be produced with two different ways: they can be projects or standard transformers. Standard transformers are today produced almost everywhere, while project transformers are more demanding, because the degree of engineering is higher. In the branch pressure on manufacturing costs has been high especially in standard transformers - but also in projects - due to cheaper manufacturing in low-cost countries. In addition to cost pressure, delivery promptness has been often unsatisfactory in special transformers -another way to call projects- lines in both partners, resulting in insufficient customer satisfaction. |
